An employee's experience is reflected in their base annual salary. Base annual salaries for an EMT new to the industry start at $24,400 while a paramedic that base annual salary starts at $29,000. Annual salaries are adjusted based on the applicants experience on a ratio of 3% for every year, up to five, worked as EMT or paramedic for a comparable ambulance provider.
