Aaron has worked for LifeNet since 2015 and is a paramedic in our Texarkana Division.
“I had always been interested in the medical field, but EMS never really crossed my mind. I stumbled into it completely by accident and instantly fell in love. I’ve had many jobs, but it wasn’t until I started working at LifeNet that I enjoyed coming to work,” he said, describing why he became a paramedic.
Aaron has a heart for wanting to be a positive light for others and it shows.
“The thing I enjoy most about working at LifeNet is being able to be a calming voice in the middle of chaos and letting my patients know I will do everything within my power to take care of them. I always try to make an effort to make every patient smile,” he said.
For others considering a career in EMS, Aaron offers this advice: “While this job can be fun and rewarding, you must have an passion for service to others and a willingness to never stop learning. The moment you stop learning is the same moment you will be behind the curve.”
When Aaron isn’t at work, you’ll find him with family and friends “either around the dinner table or outside somewhere.”
