Randy Bean, Director of Operations, LifeNet in Denison, Texas
Randy Bean is responsible for the daily operations of LifeNet in Denison, Texas. In this capacity, Randy oversees the daily operations of LifeNet’s service to Denison Fire Rescue. This includes hiring, discipline, orientation and training of staff, and vehicle and materials management. Randy also serves on planning and implementation committees for emergency services in Grayson County.
Randy started his career in EMS as an EMT at LifeNet in 2004. While attending paramedic school, he started working in LifeNet’s Communication’s Center. After becoming a paramedic, Randy served LifeNet as a field training officer (FTO) and flight medic before being promoted to clinical coordinator in 2014. In 2019, Randy was selected to serve as director of operations for LifeNet in Denison, Texas.
Randy is a national registered paramedic licensed in both Texas and Arkansas. He is an instructor of BCLS, ACLS, ITLS, AMLS, PEPP, ASLS, and GEMS. He is also NIMS 100, 300, and 700 certified. He has completed the Fitch and Associates’ Ambulance Services Managers course.
Prior to going to school to become a paramedic, Randy spent nearly 10 years working for Channel 6 News in Texarkana, Texas and Shreveport, Louisiana.
