LifeNet is currently searching for an Area Director for our Hot Springs Division. The division provides ground and air emergency medical services (EMS) to the City of Hot Springs, Garland County, Hot Springs Village, City of Malvern, and portions of Hot Spring County in Arkansas. With exclusive ground contracts for the service areas, LifeNet runs both emergency and non-emergency calls across the division.
ABOUT THE POSITION
This senior‐level position reports directly to the Chief Executive Officer and is responsible for the overall direction, coordination, and supervision of the Hot Springs Division ensuring overall efficiency and the highest level of patient care within the field operation. The Area Director is empowered to make informed decisions, serving as a senior contact for key system stakeholders and facilitating Division access to corporate resources for consistent high performance.
As one of the largest providers of prehospital care in northeast Texas and southwest and central Arkansas, LifeNet is an Arkansas corporation serving the approximately 350,000 residents of a combined 4,000 square miles, with corporate headquarters in Texarkana, Texas. ABOUT THE AREA DIRECTOR
The successful candidate for Area Director must be an experienced and successful leader with the proven ability to think strategically and to make clear, well‐reasoned, decisions. Candidates must possess a servant leadership attitude and corresponding approach to personnel and personnel management issues. Only well‐qualified career professionals need apply for this position.
Candidates must hold the following core credentials (additional qualifications will be provided to applicants in the position prospectus):
- Four years of recent experience in Emergency Medical Services and/or the healthcare field
- Thorough knowledge of accepted EMS service practices
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or Health Sciences Administration or related field (preferred)
- Proven leadership/management capabilities, including personnel and budget management
- Effective interpersonal skills and a demonstrated capacity for constructive collaboration with coworkers, system colleagues, and members of the public
The annual salary mid‐point for this professional position is $105,000, commensurate with experience, and comes with an attractive benefits offering.
