Josh has been an EMT at LifeNet for eight months.
“I really wanted to be able to do something that would allow me to help people,” he noted while explaining why he choose the career field.
Being an EMT is something Josh truly enjoys.
“I love the surprises,” he said. “Every time we get a call, you never know what you are going to see. Some things we see are sweet and heartwarming. Other things will make you cringe so hard you grit your teeth. I never have a boring day at work.”
When Josh isn’t working for LifeNet, you can probably find him at the university, reading books, or talking with his friends and family.
For other people considering a career in EMS, Josh has some great advice.
“If you do decide to get involved with EMS, don’t give up. There are going to be 1,000 reasons why you think you can’t do it, but at the end of the day, the only thing that matters is why you didn’t give up,” he said.
