Fixed Wing Ambulance Service

When you call LifeNet to request a fixed wing patient transport, our team will take care of coordinating the logistics.  Our fixed wing air ambulance is used for inter-facility transfers when the patient needs care that is not available at the sending facility and can transport patients with virtually any medical condition.

Fixed wing ambulance transport is used for long distance patient transfers.  Our staff is available (weather permitting) 24 hours a day, 365 days a year, to manage your flight arrangements.

LifeNet utilizes a Piper Cheyenne 2 twin-engine turboprop plane, which is operated by Airborne Air Ambulance and based at the airport in Texarkana, Arkansas (TXK).  The aircraft is a FAA-certified air ambulance. Additional space in the airplane often allows a family member to fly with the patient.

We utilize a two-person medical team on all flights.

Our team will work with your insurance to submit your claim and limit the out-of-pocket cost of your medical flight.
