Dave Dutton is responsible for managing the Texarkana Division’s communication equipment and Communications Center, including the center’s QI program. He is also responsible for calculating response times and providing demand analysis information for the division’s various contract areas.

Dave’s EMS career began in 1991 with St. Michael EMS as an EMT and station manager while completing the paramedic program at Texarkana College. He transitioned to LifeNet at its inception in 1993 and has served in multiple roles there since, including ground paramedic, flight paramedic, system status controller, field training officer, and ground operations manager. Dave became the communications manager for LifeNet’s Texarkana based Communications Center in 2005.

Dave is a national registered paramedic licensed in both Texas and Arkansas. He is a certified emergency medical dispatcher (EMD) and an NAED EMD-Q (quality improvement) through the National Academies of Emergency Dispatch (NAED).  He successfully completed the Communication Center Manager Course and is both BCLS and ACLS certified.
