As General Manager, he is responsible for the overall direction and coordination of our ambulance services, including dispatch and the overall efficiency and quality of our patient care and transport service delivery in the Hot Springs Division, which includes Malvern, Arkansas. He reports directly to the C.E.O.
Jason began his EMS career in Montana in 1991 and quickly rose in the ranks to become a flight paramedic and field supervisor. He was promoted to an operations management position and gained additional experience managing multiple jurisdictions in Montana and later Colorado for AMR. Jason was selected for LifeNet’s Hot Springs transition team in September 2005 after a national recruitment search.
Coupled with his extensive field and management experience, Jason’s data collection and analysis expertise has allowed him to be very responsive to the custom reporting needs of various EMS Boards and other key system stakeholders. He developed the first-ever quality improvement process for National Academies of Emergency Dispatch (NAED) dispatch in Hot Springs, utilizing NAED Aqua software and is responsible for raising the system’s standards for statistical reporting.
Currently Jason serves on the EMS Subcommittee of the Arkansas Governor’s Trauma Advisory Committee and also represents the EMS agencies of southwest Arkansas on the Southwest Arkansas Trauma Advisory Council.
